This six-day revision course is designed for doctors preparing to sit the MFOM Part 2 examination with the Royal College of Physicians of Ireland. The course is delivered in two parts: Part 1 (online live sessions) and Part 2 (face-to-face).  Both parts of the course are three-day blocks.  In the gap between the two parts, the course delegates will be required to attempt typical exam questions as part of the homework, which they will complete before attending Part 2 of the course.

Part 1 (3 days online live sessions, delivered via Zoom) – Lectures and discussion covering the following: epidemiology and statistics, critical appraisal of epidemiology studies, report and letter writing, assessing workplace scenarios, performing physical examinations, writing and presenting portfolios, and discussion of selected OSPE cases.

Part 2 (3 days face-to-face in Birmingham, UK – Venue TBC) – teaching which covers the following: discussion of homework questions, SBA papers covering different syllabus topics, and a range of typical OSPE /OSCE scenario questions.

The course is organised and delivered by Dr Alan Bray and Prof Steven Sadhra, who have extensive experience in delivering MFOM revision courses and master classes for specialist trainees in Occupational Medicine.  Professor Hubert Lam is the third member of the professional teaching team. 

The administration (registration, booking, access to learning material etc.) of the course will be provided by Trinity Occupational and Public Health Solutions (TOPHS), UK

This revision course is open to all Occupational Medicine Trainees including those preparing for MFOM Part 2 / AFOM.
